In a world that can be fast-paced and unpredictable, plants remind us of the beauty and importance of nature while increasing our levels of health and happiness.” And that is exactly how I felt when I popped in during my daycation! 🌇 Evening: [Final Stop]

Flank Steakhouse Bar & Char
Address: 1000 MN-7, Hutchinson, MN 55350
When I was looking for where to eat dinner, I was looking for something local and less corporate, but also wanted something slightly elevated, more than a local bar, and that is why Flank Steakhouse stood out to me! The landing page of their website simply states: Simple. Elevated. Extraordinary Food. They state, “ Our aim is to have extraordinary food available to all of the hard-working folks in the area, at an affordable price, every time.” I had to stop! Now, when I first pulled in, I was taken aback BECAUSE would you know this restaurant is attached to a Days Inn!?! Previous experience tells me restaurants attached to hotels can be a little hit or miss, but I was willing to take a chance. So with minimal signage leading the way, I entered! It was great! It had a little Bed & Breakfast feel to it. You could tell they are family-owned, no corporate feel, but very elevated, very taken care of. They have very unique seating options, from couches to two-seaters to regular tables. All of their sauces are homemade. They were on top of taking care of their customers, and you could tell they were aiming to please!
What I ordered: The Meatloaf Sandwich with Cajun fries—filling, flavorful, and topped with their homemade Vince-Fillet sauce (think Chick-fil-A sauce, but better).
I would dine there again! Also, if you are looking for a place to stay for the night I heard from friends that Days Inn location was pretty great!
